Duplicate profiles occur when an existing Odin worker self-onboards to a new jobsite using matching identifiers: the same first name, last name, phone number, or birthday they used at a different jobsite. Odin has since improved the onboarding process to prevent this issue, though duplicates created before these updates remain.
Profiles with historical swipe data cannot be deleted, as this would compromise project data integrity. Manual merging is the only cleanup method available.

Steps for Resolution

1

Identify which profile is outdated

Review both profiles and determine which one is no longer in use.
2

Remove contact information from the outdated profile

Remove the phone number or email from the outdated profile.
3

Transfer contact information to the intended profile

Add that contact information to the correct, active profile.
Attempting to update before removing contact info from the outdated profile will trigger a duplicate-exists warning.

Data Transfer

Documents and personal information can be moved between profiles without deletion from the original profile.
