Overview

This guide covers connectivity troubleshooting for kiosks, turnstiles, and wall readers.

Kiosk Connectivity

Check Power

Verify that the kiosk is receiving power and is turned on.

Check Network Connection

Confirm the kiosk is connected via WiFi or cellular connection.
The universal passcode for kiosk access is 040608. Geofencing must be enabled for clock-in functionality to work.

Turnstile and Wall Reader Connectivity

Check HID Reader

Verify that the HID reader lights are responding when badges are presented.

Review Access Activity

Check access activity in the Odin web app to confirm whether events are being recorded.

Check Device Management

If needed, review the Ericsson device management system for additional diagnostics.

Relocated Devices

If the turnstile or wall reader has been relocated:
  1. Power down the device
  2. Move to the new location
  3. Restore power

Escalation

If the connectivity issue remains unresolved after following the steps above, contact engineering support for further assistance.
